Kate has ten years’ experience in business and lifestyle journalism working with and leading some of Canterbury’s award-winning magazines. Concurrently, she has enjoyed a varied international career in public relations spanning over five years. Working agency side and in-house, Kate has led the communications for some of the world’s most recognised international brands and personalities including the BBC, Patek Philippe, Aston Martin, World Wide Web Founder Sir Tim Berners Lee, Uber, and Canadian Astronaut Chris Hadfield to name a few. Locally, Kate has worked on award-winning earthquake recovery communications campaigns for public sector organisations with her experience extending to event management, stakeholder relations and marketing for high profile private sector clients.
